Robert heritage for archie shine knightsbridge afrormosia sideboard 60's. – A rare vintage treasure

Discover timeless elegance: Robert Heritage flagship "Knightsbridge" sideboard circa 1960 produced by Archie Shine  and retailed through Heals. A sleek,long and capacious signature sideboard in Afrormosia and Teak and bought new by the original owner. It comprises of a run of four wide drawers with solid Afrormosia drawer fronts and cube handles.The drawer fronts have a lovely reeded pattern .The top drawer has it's original baise lining and compartments . The centre section has a large storage area with a pair of flush doors with concealed top finger pulls.It has a full width and depth shelf which is removable. Adjacent is another double door accessing a second storage area,again with a removable shelf.The cabinet sits on a substantial underframe in Afrormosia with straight legs.The main carcass is also Afrormosia with curved back upstand.
